Any of us can name various coursework resources and locations where they can be found. However, the process of gathering appropriate coursework resources is based on the quality, not their quantity. You can find lots of materials indirectly related to the theme, or the thesis statement of your paper, but without literature resources that strongly support the main idea of the writing you will fail to get a good grade.

So, let us not waste our time by gathering as many coursework resources as possible, but focus on evaluating the most appropriate ones.

Relevance of your coursework resources

To assess whether your coursework resources are relevant, you need to ask yourself two easy questions:

  • Is this material closely related to the topic of my coursework?
  • Is it specific enough?
  • If the answers to these questions are negative, you need to put aside this coursework resource and find another one.

Reliability of your coursework resources

Again, you are to evaluate your coursework resource by answering the following questions:

  • Is my resource a reputable one? Would my teacher know it or not?
  • Who is the author of this coursework resource? Is he/she an expert in the field he/she is writing about?
  • Do any other resources I have found say the same thing? (if yes, consider using one of them to avoid undesirable repetition).

Timeliness of your coursework resource

You need to be sure that the materials you are using are still relevant, bringing fresh information, corresponding to the present situation.

The process of evaluating each coursework resource will help you write an outstanding paper! Just remember three important things that are to be taken into consideration: relevance, reliability and timeliness!
